How the Estate was born
We have been taking care of our olive grove for 4 generations. It was purchased in 1926 and since then the love for this land and for these plants, so noble and ancient, has been handed down from father to son until today. Making oil is not our main job, but a pure passion. This is why we aim for a single goal: to produce a very high quality, healthy and genuine oil.
Our family has a very ancient history, the first ancestors were in Padula already in 1400. With this oil we wanted, among other things, to convey the love for our land and for the History it is steeped in. This is the reason for our logo: the cultivation of olive trees in our area was imported by the Phocaean settlers and since then it has intertwined with the culture and tradition of our people, to whom it has given sustenance for centuries. Olive oil has a special meaning for us Mediterranean peoples, it is no coincidence that Thucydides wrote that the olive tree and the vine helped these people to free themselves from barbarism.
For our family, producing oil means all this, culture, history, tradition, love for the land and its gifts. All accompanied by the good things that modern agrotechnics and new technologies have to offer.
